Field Installer

The Field Installer completes the installation of storage systems that are designed for healthcare facilities and while doing so ensures all components of the storage system are installed per the specifications that are provided by the Healthcare Storage Solutions Project Manager. As a Field Installer, you will be accountable for travelling to client locations and working closely with specific healthcare personnel, on-site,  while completing the physical assembly and installation of storage solutions. To be successful in this role will include communicating with the client and providing the client with a low level of instructions for use to the storage system being installed.

Responsibilities

The Field Installer will travel to client locations within and outside the Denver metropolitan area and successfully complete the installation of storage solutions custom designed for healthcare facilities by following instructions provided from the Healthcare Storage Solutions Project Manager. The storage solutions being installed are designed to support the management of the various healthcare materials designated by Supply Chain, Nursing, and Techs to ensure the effectiveness of each custom solution. In this role, you will work independently or at times with other team members and with limited supervision. Overnight travel will be required and coordinated by the Field Installer. Upon completion of the installation, the Field Installer will obtain project sign-off from the client indicating the successful completion of the installation.

Essential Functions

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

  • Interprets and understands the design and installation project plans, which outline the objectives of the project, scope of work, and project elements.
  • Assembles storage items to be used in the deployment of custom storage solutions.
  • Coordinates with the client contacts, as may be required.
  • Provides support to warehouse personnel at times and as may be required
  • Communicates clearly with the Healthcare Storage Solutions Project Manager, other Healthcare Storage Solutions Field Installers and those client team members designated as points of contact at the client location.
  • Plans and coordinates travel and lodging as necessary to ensure Field Installer activities adhere with scheduling requirements.
  • Reviews and analyzes project changes requests and makes recommendations related to the execution of these requests. Conducts risk and cost/benefit analyses, manages risk associated with projects, and devises strategies to deal with unexpected crises and unresolved risks.
  • Performs certain project closure activities as directed by Project Manager including discussing lessons learned and review of best practices.
  • Complies with Healthcare Storage Solutions procedures for tracking, reporting and processing company related expenses
  • Participates in project related activities at company headquarters at times when the Field Installer is not required to be in the field.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • The ability to travel to client locations outside the Denver Metro and Front Range. Overnight travel is required.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Must have the ability to use hand tools and along with the ability to lift and or position bulky items, weighing up to 30 lbs., with or without assistance, per instructions communicated in writing or verbally.
  • Experience within the acute care operations of healthcare facilities including OR, Outpatient, and Clinical environments
  • Healthcare experience in the Nursing, Tech or Supply Chain functions and possessing an understanding of the day-to-day operations within healthcare facilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory controls, inventory systems and inventory tracking is preferred
  • Proficiency with G-Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet) and Slack

  • Communications: Contact with employees where explanatory or interpretive information is exchanged, gathered, or presented and some degree of discretion and judgment are required within the parameters of the job function.
  • Supervision Received: Under normal supervision, within a standardized work situation, the employee performs duties common to the line of work without close supervision but with detailed instruction.

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION – High School Diploma, Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or experience in a directly related field
  • EQUIVALENCY – In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, three years of professional experience will substitute
  • EXPERIENCE – Three years of client facing field installation experience

Project Manager

The Storage Solutions Implementation Project Manager performs project management activities over medium scope projects involving the delivery, arrangement and installation of custom storage solutions within various healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

Manage the deployment and installation of storage solutions that are custom designed for healthcare facilities. These storage solutions support the management of various healthcare materials designated by Supply Chain, Nursing and Techs to ensure the effectiveness of each custom solution. In this role, you will manage all aspects of each installation project including gathering the data and available reporting from client sources to accurately determine PAR levels which aid in the design of custom storage systems.

Essential Functions

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

  • Develops and gains approval of planning, design and installation project plans, which outline the objectives of the project, scope of work, and project elements.
  • Coordinates with the various stakeholders; monitors projects for conformance to approved plans and contract specifications.
  • Develops and monitors project budgets, which includes allocating resources and tracking and approving expenditures; prepares reports detailing the status of the project budget.
  • Coordinates the work of client stakeholders and Healthcare Storage Solutions team members who have been assigned responsibility for various portions of a project; confers with multi-disciplinary leaders to establish work plan responsibilities and scope of authority; ensures technical proficiency and productivity of project staff. Arranges for training of client stakeholders as necessary.
  • Plans and conducts project meetings with stakeholders and team members; develops and maintains a communication plan and related project status reports for key stakeholders.
  • Reviews and analyzes project changes requests and makes recommendations related to the execution of these requests. Conducts risk and cost/benefit analyses, manages risk associated with projects, and devises strategies to deal with unexpected crises and unresolved risks.
  • Performs project closure activities including release of Healthcare Storage Solutions team members from the project, and completing lessons learned and project implementation review of best practices.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project or similar project management platforms; must be able to develop, distribute and explain various project status reports including budget analysis.
  • Must have the ability to travel to client locations outside the Denver Metro and Front Range as may be required from time to time.
